Project Manager for Supply Chain

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager for Supply Chain to join our team at General Mills. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for securing and accelerating our 3OP cost saving pipeline.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead key strategic HMM (Holistic Margin Management) technical or technically-enabled projects from Charter stage and ensure executional excellence using the appropriate methodology and tools.
  • Work with functional managers to develop project timings, resource requirements, and project success criteria. Drive efforts to accelerate implementation and increase project savings.
  • Track and communicate project progress to key stakeholders, including the Senior Leadership team. Identify, assess, and mitigate project-level risks and ensure effective communication via clear governance processes.
  • Lead cross-functional root cause analysis to understand business implications.
  • Utilize skills and experience to review the Cost Saving (HMM) Project Management framework and implement improvements to ways of working and tools that will have an impact on regional results.
  • Collaborate with Marketing leads to provide guidance on adopting changes to support project management across all Launch to Win projects.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in Project Management, ideally within Supply Chain.
  • Proven experience in Project Management methodology.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to drive effective discussions with project resources from tactical execution level up to Senior Leadership level.
  • Stakeholder management and ability to influence positively in decision making.
  • Strong organizational and people development skills.
  • Able to lead and direct across functional teams.
  • Able to work across organizational/functional boundaries.
  • Self-managing, results-oriented, and capable of leading multiple initiatives simultaneously.
