Senior Supply Chain Manager

This is an exciting opportunity to partner with various departments to drive commercial savings and add value to the business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure customer needs are met and support the supply chain strategy
  • Deliver sustainable cost reductions, operational efficiencies, and supplier performance improvements
  • Manage category and suppliers, from tendering to contract planning and negotiation
  • Develop and promote a culture of continuous improvement within the supply chain team
  • Implement procurement and supplier performance monitoring systems
  • Manage long-term strategic relationships with key suppliers
  • Support, mentor, and coach apprentices
Requirements:
  • CIPS accreditation (minimum level 5)
  • Experience in running tenders, reducing costs, and fostering productive relationships with stakeholders
  • Proven ability to conduct comparison analysis and produce actionable recommendations
  • Strong communication skills, including active listening, curiosity, and diplomacy
  • Commercial awareness, computer literacy, and attention to detail
  • Experience with NEC contracts
