Salary: £45,000 - £47,000

Location: Blackburn Area

Shift: 4 on 4 off

Pioneer Selection Careers is seeking a highly skilled and experienced multi-skilled maintenance engineer to join our team at a leading FMCG manufacturing business in the Blackburn area. This is a fantastic opportunity for a strong maintenance engineer to work in a state-of-the-art, fully automated factory with a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform pre-planned, reactive, and breakdown maintenance on various equipment and systems.
  • Develop and implement project/continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and improve overall plant performance.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior maintenance personnel.

Requirements:

  • Multi-skilled maintenance engineer with a strong background in electrical and mechanical engineering.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to work under pressure.
  • PLC experience and fault-finding skills.
  • Knowledge of 3-phase, motors, invertors, sensors, and relays.
  • Hydraulics, pneumatics, belts, bearings, and chains.
