Insurance Business Development Manager

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Commercial Underwriter to join our Client's highly successful Commercial team in East Anglia.
As a Commercial Underwriter, you will be responsible for evaluating and underwriting various Commercial risks, focusing on both new and renewal business. You will work closely with Brokers to structure competitive insurance solutions that align with the Company's risk appetite and meet client needs.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge and excellent communication and negotiation skills. They should be able to maintain and develop strong relationships with Brokers and demonstrate a proven track record of profitable underwriting decisions.
Responsibilities:- Evaluate and underwrite Commercial risks for new and existing clients.
- Negotiate terms with Brokers to win and retain business.
- Maintain and develop strong relationships with Brokers.
- Analyse market trends to ensure competitive and profitable underwriting decisions.
- Competitive salary: £55,000 - £75,000 per annum.
