About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Health Programmes Manager to lead and manage our portfolio of Health programmes at undergraduate level. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, driving innovation and excellence in health education.

The ideal candidate will have recent experience in delivering and managing successful Health programmes in an educational or training setting, with a passion for inspiring and developing a growing course team. They will be able to manage an expanding and responsive Health Curriculum in a range of settings that engage learners (both online and face-to-face).

This is an exciting opportunity for a leader who can foster a positive culture of wellbeing in the department, while also being adaptable and responsive to challenges with positive solutions. The successful candidate will be able to collaborate effectively with other Programme Managers across the University Centre to utilise resources and ensure a high-quality offer.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Line management of staff, setting targets and managing performance.
  • Providing effective leadership, support, and guidance for course leaders, lecturers, and assessors.
  • Liaising with external stakeholders to raise awareness and interest in the UCLeeds offer.
About You

We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of the Health sector and the ability to implement curriculum changes in line with current developments. Experience of working with stakeholders and being influential in establishing effective partnerships is essential.

The estimated salary for this role is around £40,000-£50,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a range of benefits, including generous annual leave entitlement, excellent pension schemes, and flexible and hybrid working opportunities.
