Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Freelance Site Manager to oversee a high-end office fit out and refurbishment project in Birmingham. The project involves a full internal fit out with high-end finishes, and the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day activities of the project, including site inductions, toolbox talks, and progress meetings.
  • Coordinate with the building manager to ensure smooth delivery of materials and equipment.
  • Supervise and motivate subcontractors and trades on site.
  • Produce regular and clear progress reports to stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and site-specific protocols.

Requirements:

  • Strong background in fit out and refurbishment, preferably in commercial office fit outs.
  • SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certificates required.
  • Experience working on projects with a value up to GBP500k plus.
  • Ability to conduct site inductions and toolbox talks.
  • Confidence in conducting site, client, and progress meetings.
  • Ability to manage a full site program to complete projects on time and to budget.
