Job Title: Quantity Surveyor (QS)
Location: East Kilbride (Central Belt Scotland)
Salary: £30,000 - £60,000 (DOE) + Car/Car Allowance
We are working with a well-established client specialising in the refurbishment of void properties and main contracting services. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced Quantity Surveyor (QS) to join their team at their East Kilbride office.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage all costs related to building projects, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities, to ensure compliance with building regulations and construction contracts.
- Evaluate and negotiate sub-contractor contracts to secure the best possible deals.
- Work collaboratively with project teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget, monitoring and controlling cost variations.
- Prepare final accounts and oversee interim payments to ensure smooth project progression.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment.
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction, refurbishment, or main contracting.
- Strong understanding of building regulations and construction contracts.
- Excellent negotiation and analytical skills, with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Competitive salary between £30,000 - £60,000 depending on experience.
- Company car or car allowance.
