Job Role – Motor Vehicle Service Advisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Advisor to join our team at Jago Consultants. As a Service Advisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standard of customer service and professionalism when interacting with clients and members of the public.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice to customers on service and repair work required to their vehicles
  • Advise on estimated costs of repairs and work to be undertaken, ensuring transparency and clarity
  • Sell additional products and services as appropriate to customers' needs, driving revenue growth and customer satisfaction
  • Coordinate and manage service schedules, ensuring timely completion and efficient use of resources
  • Update customer and vehicle records, maintaining accurate and up-to-date information
  • Document all warranty work in accordance with manufacturer policy, ensuring compliance and customer satisfaction
  • Prepare and complete invoices, ensuring accuracy and timeliness

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working as a Service Advisor in a motor garage environment, with a strong understanding of customer service principles and practices
  • Full driving license, with a clean driving record
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve customer issues efficiently
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of adaptability and flexibility
