About the Role:

The Examinations Administrator will be responsible for managing the effective and efficient administration of external examinations in accordance with the Joint Council for Qualifications regulations and/or awarding body rules for exams administration in a consistent and secure manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure exam policies and procedures are understood and followed in line with awarding body regulations
  • Responsibility for making sure exams are timetabled, roomed and invigilated
  • Check and collate paperwork and data
  • Deputise for the Exams Coordinator as required
  • All other duties as advised on the job description

Requirements:

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Level 2 English & Maths
  • Evidence of good organisational and administrative skills
  • Ability to maintain a high standard of accuracy under pressure and working to deadlines
  • Strong IT skills across a variety of systems
  • First class communication skills
  • Previous experience of a Further Education working environment a distinct advantage
  • Willingness to work flexibly including occasional evening/Saturday/Bank Holidays
