Job Details
  • Location: Macclesfield

  • Working Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm daily

This is a highly rewarding position that requires empathy, understanding, and excellent communication skills. As a Behavioural Support Worker, you will be working closely with children and young people who display challenging behaviours associated with learning disabilities, autistic spectrum conditions, and mental health problems.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver person-centred support to individuals with complex needs and challenging behaviours
  • Work collaboratively with the school community to develop and implement individualised support plans
  • Build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to ongoing professional development

The ideal candidate will possess experience working with children and young people who display challenging behaviour, de-escalation training, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Requirements
  • Right to Work in the UK
  • Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or willingness to obtain one
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Empathy and understanding of the needs of vulnerable young people

We offer a competitive salary of £25,000 - £32,000 per annum, dependent on experience, and a supportive environment that values employee well-being and professional growth.
