An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Industrial Project Manager to join our team at The Engineer in Stevenage, UK.

Salary: Circa £55,000 - £70,000 per annum depending on experience.

About the Role

We are seeking an ambitious technical manager with a proven track record of delivering large-scale industrial projects. As an Industrial Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, executing and managing industrial transfer and offset contracts associated with high-technology product transfer.

  • You will develop and maintain key relationships with export suppliers, customers and subcontractors, conducting regular international/domestic travel for progress meetings and reviews.
  • You will ensure accurate reporting of project performance up to director level, challenging industrial partner performance/progress where necessary to ensure project success.
  • You will interact with multi-disciplinary functions to safeguard delivery of contract requirements, assisting in tendering/bidding activities associated with industrial transfer and offset contracts.
  • You will prepare and maintain contract risk and opportunity plans and budgets.

  • A strong background in project management, including the delivery of fixed cost programmes of significant value.
  • Experience with export, international business and supplier management is desirable.
