About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at East Kent Mencap. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support and care to individuals with learning disabilities, promoting their independence and helping them lead fulfilling lives in the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support to vulnerable individuals with learning disabilities, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement personalized support plans.
  • Assist individuals with daily living tasks, such as personal care and household management.
  • Support individuals to access community resources and activities, promoting social inclusion and participation.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment, promoting a culture of respect and empathy.
