Job Summary:

Arc IT Recruitment is seeking an experienced Program Director to lead the end-to-end redevelopment and cloud deployment of a complex financial system. This is a newly created role that will see you overseeing the transformation of core systems to enhance operational efficiency, scalability, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans to ensure the successful delivery of the program
  • Coordinate and manage cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative environment to achieve program goals
  • Ensure the team properly defines requirements and specifications, testing, and implementation plans
  • Identify and manage risks and issues effectively to mitigate impact to project success
  • Coordinate and facilitate discussion around key program risk areas, such as designs, scope management, and more

Requirements:

  • Experience in software development with a background in.Net, DevOps, and JavaScript (React or Angular)
  • Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and deployment strategies
  • Understanding of modern IT infrastructure, software development life cycle (SDLC), and DevOps practices
  • Excellent knowledge of insurance systems and their operational requirements
  • Prince2 or PMI - PMP certification and/or Certified Scrum Master preferred

About the Role:

This is a pivotal role that will see you driving the transformation of core systems to enhance operational efficiency, scalability, and customer satisfaction. You will be overseeing a diverse team comprising internal and external staff, effective stakeholder engagement, and meticulous financial management throughout the project's life cycle.
