Main Responsibilities

As the EMEA Marketing Director, you'll lead the marketing of IDEXX Water products in the region. You'll work closely with our global product marketing and communications teams to develop and execute marketing strategies, communication plans, and product campaigns.

  • Develop and implement marketing campaigns in partnership with our global product marketing team and regional sales teams.
  • Manage ongoing marketing campaigns in the EMEA region, serving as the primary coordination point for all customer mass communications.
  • Manage staff, assign work, monitor activities, evaluate performance, and manage escalated/critical issues.
  • Identify the most effective marketing channels to reach customers and create plans to develop/expand our company presence in these channels.
  • Collaborate with our creative resources and outside agencies to oversee and/or perform copy writing, creative design, and similar work.
  • Conduct customer research, identify customer needs and market trends, and understand competitive market dynamics in the region.
  • Ensure strong marketing and sales collaboration across the region, collaborating with the sales team to promote products in the marketplace.
  • Plan, support, and/or participate in customer education events, such as webinars and seminars.
  • Provide and/or support ongoing sales and marketing training for the sales team.
  • Define and achieve financial and other objectives for marketing programs.
  • Responsible for budget setting, monitoring, and control.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required. A master's degree or equivalent preferred.
  • 5 to 7 years of experience minimum with international marketing responsibility.
  • International marketing experience in the EMEA region.
  • Demonstrated marketing and product management skills.
  • Strong experience with digital marketing channels.
  • Ability to manage strategy and details concurrently.
  • Financial acumen and budget management skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Basic/solid understanding of SAP and Salesforce CRM systems.
