Location: Our nurseries provide high-quality childcare from 3 months to 5 years, making it an ideal place for someone passionate about working with toddlers.
Company OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to lead our toddler room. As a reputable nursery, we strive to provide the best possible care and education for young children, fostering their growth and development in a nurturing environment.
Estimated Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 per annumJob DescriptionKey Responsibilities:
- Create a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment for our toddlers, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being is met.
- Plan and deliver a curriculum that caters to the developmental needs of our toddlers, promoting their cognitive, social, and emotional growth.
- Observe, assess, and record toddlers' progress, providing regular updates and feedback to parents and colleagues.
- Supervise and support the development of room staff, helping them build strong relationships with children, parents, and other team members.
- Maintain effective communication with parents, keeping them informed about their child's daily activities, milestones, and any concerns.
- E nsure compliance with all nursery policies and procedures, maintaining high standards of quality care and education.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent.
- Experience working with toddlers, preferably in a nursery setting.
- Strong knowledge of child development, particularly for children aged 18 months to 3 years old.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to build rapport with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team, creating a positive and productive work environment.
