Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Vice President of Prime Brokerage Sales to join our dynamic team in London. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in prime brokerage sales, particularly with a focus on boutique hedge funds. This role is responsible for driving new business development, managing client relationships, and contributing to the overall growth of our Prime Brokerage business in the EMEA region.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Business Development: Identify, pursue, and secure new prime brokerage clients, focusing on boutique hedge funds. Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets.
  2. Client Relationship Management: Foster and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
  3. Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and client needs to provide valuable insights and recommendations.
  4. Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including trading, risk management, operations, and compliance, to deliver seamless solutions to clients.
  5. Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on sales activities, pipeline status, and market developments.
  6. Compliance: Ensure all sales activities are conducted in accordance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

Qualifications:

  1. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in prime brokerage sales, with a proven track record of success in dealing with boutique hedge funds.
  2. Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the hedge fund industry, prime brokerage services, and related financial products. Familiarity with the regulatory landscape in the EMEA region.
  3. Sales Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills. Comfortable working with data to drive decision-making.
  4. Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or other advanced degrees are a plus.
