Heavy Vehicle Maintenance Specialist

At Biffa Waste Services, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Vehicle Maintenance Specialist to join our workshop team at Staines Depot.
Competitive Salary: £18.77 per hour
This role involves maintaining and repairing a diverse fleet of waste collection LGV/HGV vehicles, ranging from car-derived vans to artic units and trailers.
- Key Requirements:
- Technical qualification (City & Guilds or NVQ qualified) or proven experience repairing and maintaining Light or Heavy vehicles
- Awareness and understanding of health and safety requirements
- MOT preparation experience is advantageous
- HGV/LGV 2 licence
- Effective verbal and written skills coupled with strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
