Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Mears.

Salary: Up to £42,000 per annum.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking installation, service, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems in domestic properties.

You will work independently or as part of a team to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.

Able to communicate effectively with building occupiers, you will also provide technical advice to assist management as required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation, servicing, and repairing electrical installations, systems, equipment, and components.
  • Fault finding, diagnosis, and repair of electrical installations.
  • Carrying out inspection, servicing, and planned preventative maintenance works.
  • Maintaining accurate records of all work undertaken.
  • Providing detailed technical advice relevant to your discipline.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification.
  • City & Guilds 18th Edition certification (or equivalent).
  • Inspection and Testing 2391/2 or equivalent qualification.
  • Prior experience in domestic, social housing is desirable.
