As a key member of our team at Kandhu Recruitment Ltd, we are seeking an experienced Business Development Specialist to join our company. This exciting opportunity is available for someone with a background in the food industry, particularly in technical or commercial roles.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in a similar position, preferably within a short shelf-life food supplier, such as fresh produce. They will be able to provide front-line response to technical queries, customer complaints, and product rejections through direct customer liaison and effective communication.

We offer a competitive salary of £52,500 per annum, Monday to Friday working hours with one in four weekends (half-day). The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to develop their project management skills and work closely with our UK operations team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide front-line response to technical queries and customer complaints
  • Support due diligence and supplier management processes
  • Ensure technical documentation meets required standards

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a technical or commercial role within the food industry
  • Project management capability
  • Advanced Microsoft package skills
  • Frequent face-to-face customer contact
