About the Role:

Pinnacle Group is seeking a skilled Caretaker to join our Facilities Management team based at schools in Exeter. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the security, maintenance, and functionality of our buildings and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the upkeep of our facilities.
  • Manage repairs and maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
  • Ensure security protocols are followed and the premises are kept clean and orderly.
  • Collaborate with external service providers to undertake remedial work or maintenance tasks.
  • Respond to emergency situations and effect temporary or permanent rectification in accordance with prescribed procedures and timescales.

Requirements:

  • Range of general handyman skills, including DIY, minor plumbing, carpentry, and electrical work.
  • Good customer service skills and an amenable personality.
  • Ability to liaise with and assist external service providers.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
