Job Summary:
Essential Employment is seeking a skilled Grounds Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our outdoor facilities management team, you will be responsible for maintaining the grounds and outdoor sports facilities to the highest standards.

Responsibilities:
- Perform grounds maintenance tasks including grass cutting, hedge trimming, shrub bed maintenance, pruning, and weed spraying using powered pedestrian and hand-held equipment.
- Carry out additional tasks such as graffiti removal, mechanical sweeping, and general maintenance of sports pitches, tennis courts, and other outdoor sports facilities.
- Remove litter, empty litter bins, remove small amounts of graffiti, trim or remove weed growth, clean public toilets, and report issues such as damaged streetscene furniture, fly-tipping, stray dogs, dog fouling, abandoned cars, littering, illegal use of land, and bins left on pavements.
- Inform the public and businesses about work and help with queries and complaints.
- Undertake training on safe equipment use and safe working practices.

Requirements:
- Estimated salary: £28,000 - £35,000 per annum depending on experience.
