Job Description

Aether Financial Services is seeking a highly motivated Business Development Director to lead the growth of its Agency Private Debt activity in the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a strategy to accelerate the company's expansion in the UK market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a business development strategy to drive growth in the UK Agency Private Debt market
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the UK and Continental Europe
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry experts
  • Collaborate with the Communication Department to develop marketing materials and support the development of the activity
  • Monitor market trends and regulatory developments that may impact the company's activities in the UK and other key European countries

Requirements

  • 8-10 years of experience in Agency Private Debt Business Development, with a proven understanding of the UK landscape and some international exposure
  • Strong operational knowledge of UK Private Debt markets and their functioning
  • Highly motivated, entrepreneurial, independent, and hungry to grow in a favorable environment
  • Proficient in Office 360
  • Fluent in English, with another European language (German, Dutch, Spanish) a strong plus
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team
  • Accountability and sense of customer relationship, autonomy
