About the Role

Fife Health and Social Care Partnership seeks a Participation and Engagement Officer to collaborate with people who use services, their families, and other stakeholders.

The successful candidate will establish effective engagement mechanisms to design and deliver services from the users' perspective.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Collaborating with people who use services, families, and stakeholders to design and deliver services
  2. Establishing channels of communication between partner agencies, service users, and communities
  3. Maintaining knowledge of participation and engagement developments nationally and locally
  4. Preparing presentations, engagement activities, and comprehensive reports
  5. Attending team meetings and board meetings

Requirements

Candidates should possess:

  1. Demonstratable knowledge of the National Standards for Community Engagement and other relevant guidelines
  2. Experience working with people who use services, including unpaid carers and communities
  3. Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders, partners, and colleagues at all levels
  4. Strong analytical skills and ability to cope with strongly expressed views
  5. Ability to travel throughout Fife

Selection Criteria

Before confirming appointment, candidates will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
