Job Description

The Domestic Assistant will be responsible for providing domestic services within Clinical/Non-Clinical Departments, ensuring compliance with quality standards, Health & Safety, control of infection, and adhering to the National Cleaning Services Specification. The successful candidate will work closely with the Facilities Management Team to maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.

About the Role

The Domestic Assistant will report to the Facilities Supervisors for the National Treatment Centre and will have day-to-day responsibility for ensuring all cleaning standards, procedures, and processes are followed. The ideal candidate will be able to work flexibly, think critically, and communicate effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide domestic services within Clinical/Non-Clinical Departments
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards, Health & Safety, control of infection, and adhering to the National Cleaning Services Specification
  • Collaborate with the Facilities Management Team to maintain a clean and safe environment
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently as part of a team. Previous experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Remuneration and Benefits

The salary for this role is approximately £22,500-£25,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also receive a comprehensive benefits package, including pension scheme, life assurance, and access to employee assistance programme.
