Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our catering team as a Hospital Food Assistant. This is a part-time position, working 6 hours per day, four days on, four days off, between the hours of 5am and 7pm.

About the Role

In this role, you will be working in the hospital's busy kitchen as part of a large team to maintain a clean, safe working environment and assist in the plating up of all patient meals. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work well under pressure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen
  • Assist with food preparation and presentation
  • Work effectively as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An Elementary Food Hygiene Certificate (desirable but not essential)
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure
