About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Run Plant Engineer to play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our plant facilities. As a key member of our powder manufacturing team, you will be responsible for driving efficiency and continuous improvement in our production processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Manufacturing Leader in delivering the production plan, identifying and mitigating risks to ensure targets are met.
  • Act as a technical expert for the operational area, providing guidance on process assets, standard operating procedures, and operating systems.
  • Drive SHE performance, coaching and influencing shift teams to achieve the value stream SHE strategy and objectives.
  • Identify and resolve deviations through root cause analysis, including Accident/Incident Management (AIMS) Events and corrective action reports (CARs).
  • Support the Manufacturing Leader in driving efficiencies in business-as-usual operations and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in the Victrex Management System (VMS).
  • Own OEE data and develop mechanisms for operator engagement to ensure accurate data collection, detailed analysis, and resolution.
  • Undertake technical evaluations within the production environment for all management of change submissions.
  • Coach shift teams on safety, quality, delivery, costs, and performance.
  • Support the Manufacturing Leader with customer complaints investigations.
About You

We are looking for someone with excellent communication and teamwork skills, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under pressure. Proven experience in a similar role within the manufacturing or industrial sectors would be advantageous.

Our ideal candidate will have proven knowledge of process optimization and continuous improvement methodologies, as well as familiarity with health, safety, and environmental regulations. A bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is essential for this role.
