Run Plant Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Run Plant Engineer to play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our plant facilities, driving business strategy and meeting annual objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Manufacturing Leader in delivering the production plan, identifying risks and managing impacts to ensure target delivery.
  • Act as a technical expert for the operational area, including process assets, standard operating procedures, and operating systems.
  • Drive SHE performance, coaching and influencing shift teams to achieve the value stream SHE strategy and objectives.
  • Identify deviations and resolve through root cause analysis, including Accident/Incident Management (AIMS) Events and corrective action reports (CARs).
  • Support the Manufacturing Leader in driving efficiencies in business-as-usual operations and identifying continuous improvement opportunities in the Victrex Management System (VMS).
  • Own OEE data and create mechanisms for operator engagement to ensure accurate data collection, detailed analysis, and resolution.
  • Undertake technical evaluation within the production environment for all management of change submissions.
  • Coach shift teams on safety, quality, delivery, costs, and performance.
  • Support the Manufacturing Leader with customer complaints investigations.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the manufacturing or industrial sectors.
  • Proven knowledge of process optimisation and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
