About the RoleWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our healthcare team. As a Healthcare Support Volunteer, you will work closely with our staff and partner agencies to support service users in achieving their health and wellbeing goals.
Key Responsibilities- Support the team in undertaking healthcare assessments and referrals to specialist care providers.
- Screen for blood-borne viruses and contribute to care planning to ensure effective referrals to Hepatology and GUM services.
- Prepare service users for clinics and support the delivery of healthcare interventions.
- Record activities and interventions undertaken and participate in the promotion of health and wellbeing interventions.
- Support the delivery of detox interventions and assist with screening processes, including urine and saliva tests.
- To help Change Grow Live fulfill its role in offering the best service to our clients.
- To perform your volunteering role to the best of your ability.
- To follow Change Grow Live's procedures and standards, including health and safety and equal opportunities.
- To maintain the confidential information of Change Grow Live and our clients.
