Job Title: Night Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Night Support Worker to join our team in Bracknell. As a Night Support Worker, you will play a vital role in ensuring the welfare and safety of our customers, providing emotional and practical support to those in need.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide emotional and practical support to customers who are in distress, in crisis, or require medical assistance.
  • Remain calm and professional in emergency situations, following reporting procedures and completing necessary paperwork.
  • Work empathetically and compassionately with customers who present with complex needs, such as mental health, substance misuse, safeguarding, and physical health support needs.
  • Implement and monitor visitors' procedures to prevent unauthorized access to the service.
  • Conduct health and safety checks and patrols around the building and exterior, reporting repairs and health and safety issues.
  • Support customers with domestic tasks, providing practical assistance where necessary.
  • Undertake administrative work, maintaining accurate and comprehensive tenant/customer records.
  • Provide clear and concise handovers to the team, highlighting incidents or issues and follow-up actions.
  • Engage in learning and development activities to increase knowledge and skills.
Essential Requirements:
  • DBS within the last 12 months (original copy required).
Desirable Requirements:
  • Experience working with youth.
  • Previous residential support experience.
