As a skilled Heavy Equipment Technician, you will be working on a variety of complex machinery in our modern workshop. Your primary responsibility will be to service and maintain earthmoving and construction equipment, ensuring they are in top working condition.

Key responsibilities:

  • Maintenance and service work on earthmoving and construction equipment
  • Report and document service history
  • Support the Mechanical Inspector with safety and mechanical checks on returned equipment
  • Develop the Mechanical Inspector and sign off their work

You will be working as part of a dedicated team, Monday to Friday, with a 47.5 hour workweek. We're looking for someone with strong interpersonal skills and a customer-centric approach.

Requirements:

  • Diesel Mechanic qualification or equivalent
  • 5 years' experience working with construction equipment
  • Approved to sign off an apprentice's work
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
  • Strong diagnostics skills and ability to read operation manuals
