Child Mental Health Specialist

About the Role:
In this role, you will work closely with our enthusiastic team of psychologists, psychological therapists, and assistant psychologists to deliver high-quality services to our clients. Your duties will include:
* Conducting assessments of therapeutic and placement needs
* Providing direct therapeutic interventions to children and young people
* Offering consultation and training to parents, carers, and residential care staff
* Participating in autism assessments
* Assessing and treating your own caseload of clients and maintaining associated records
* Developing and managing highly specialist interventions
* Clinically supervising less experienced psychologists, psychological therapists, assistants, and trainees
* Coordinating the provision of specialist services and providing specialist advice to other professionals and carers
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in clinical psychology, experience working with children and adolescents, and a passion for delivering high-quality services. You will also need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
What We Offer:
We offer a competitive salary of £54,000 - £60,500, negotiable depending on experience. You will also have access to a generous pension scheme, 36 days paid annual leave, and opportunities for flexible working or part-time work. Additionally, you will receive a generous CPD budget to support your professional development and contribute to service development, specifically in children's residential care support services.
