About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in Newcastle. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting an individual with autism and learning disabilities to live a fulfilling life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement a positive behaviour plan to support the individual's emotional stability and daily living skills.
  • Provide 2:1 support to the individual, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
  • Assist the individual with community activities, education, and work placement.
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to promote choice, control, and independence.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working with autistic children or adults.
  • Valid UK driving licence and ability to drive.
  • Trained to NVQ/Diploma Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent experience.
  • Physically fit and active.
  • Authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
  • Resilient, compassionate, and excellent communication skills.
