Job Description: SEN Primary School Teacher - Learning and Development Professional

Location: Felixstowe, Suffolk

Salary: £34,982 - £43,692 per annum + SEN Allowance (Estimated Annual Salary: £41,000)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced SEN primary school teacher to join our team.

The successful candidate will design and deliver engaging lessons for children with autism and other complex needs, promoting academic and emotional growth in a sensory-rich environment.

They will collaborate with teaching assistants, therapists, and families to provide holistic support and ensure every child's dignity and well-being is maintained.

Your Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement IEPs for pupils with autism and non-verbal communication needs.
  • Establish strong relationships with colleagues, contributing to a positive school culture.
  • Monitor and report on pupil progress, making adjustments to teaching strategies as needed.

  • Demonstrate expertise in supporting learners with autism and other complex needs.
