Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Process Engineer to join our team at Westinghouse Electric Company LLC. This exciting opportunity will enable you to support the successful delivery of our strategy while providing a foundation for further senior succession and progression within the organisation.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading problem-solving activities on technical opportunities relating to chemical processes, developing and implementing continuous improvement solutions in both processes and systems, and leading a team to deliver production, quality, and safety challenges.

Your Day-to-Day
  1. Support operations in monitoring control parameters to identify trends in chemical processes.
  2. Lead problem-solving activities on technical opportunities relating to chemical processes.
  3. Develop and implement continuous improvement solutions in both processes and systems.
  4. Lead and engage with multi-disciplined groups at all levels of the organisation.
  5. Lead a team to deliver production, quality, and safety challenges.
Who You Are

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • An Engineering Degree (minimum 2:1)
  • Preferred experience of working in a chemical and/or processing environment, keeping the environment and safety of people in mind
  • A strategic mindset with the ability to keep the big picture in focus and make engineering decisions based on a good understanding of the technical detail
  • Leadership skills to take a team forward and collaborate with various stakeholders to deliver tasks successfully
  • Excellent analytical and logical skills to enable creativity and innovation when designing and implementing ideas
  • Strong engagement, communication, and coordination skills
  • Good knowledge of technology and resources to optimise work by efficiently completing research to the overall growth and/or production
What We Offer

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from £60,000 to £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we also offer excellent benefits including health insurance, pension scheme, and generous holiday entitlement.
