Job Title: Researcher in European Policy

Overview: We are seeking a Researcher in European Policy to contribute to comparative research on regional development at the University of Groningen.

Salary: €55,000 - €65,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Description:

We are looking for a Research Assistant or Associate to participate in academic and policy research programmes focused on regional policy, EU Competition policy, and European Structural and Investment Funds. The successful candidate will be responsible for contributing to the design and regulation of national regional policies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A relevant first degree and subsequent work experience on regional development.
  • A post-doctoral researcher in a relevant discipline.
  • Fluency in both English and French.
  • Desirable: knowledge of another European language.
