SHE Business Partner

Location: Newton Abbot

Salary: Up to £50k p.a

H2R Selection Ltd is seeking an experienced SHE Business Partner to join their team. As a key member of the site leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with the Safety, Health and Environmental Management Procedures and Company strategy.

  • Collaborate with the site leadership team to develop and implement effective SHE management practices.
  • Work with key stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks, and develop strategies to improve safety culture and performance.
  • Provide oversight of legislative compliance and lead SHE audits and inspections.
  • Develop and manage the Site SHE management plans on a risk-based approach, engaging with site teams to deliver targeted improvement initiatives.
  • Effectively manage Sub-Contractor appraisal, approval and monitoring on site in line with Company procedures.
  • Work with Central and site teams to manage data submission in relation to environmental Permit Submission requirements.
Key Skills/Experience:

Essential:

  • NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety.
  • Relevant work experience.
  • Proven capability in business partnering, within a complex working environment.

Desirable:

  • Food industry experience.
  • Training qualification.
  • Behavioural Safety program development & delivery.
