Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of kitchen staff to achieve high standards of food quality, presentation, and customer service.
  • Ensure efficient kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating.
  • Monitor and maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen.
  • Manage inventory, stock levels, and supplies to minimize waste and optimize profitability.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve kitchen efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the restaurant management team to achieve business objectives and goals.
  • Provide training and coaching to kitchen staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Conduct regular quality checks to ensure consistency and excellence in food preparation and presentation.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of kitchen operations, including inventory, sales, and customer feedback.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Shift Leader or Kitchen Supervisor in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices, with the ability to maintain high standards in the kitchen.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly.
  • Proficiency in inventory management, stock control, and supply chain management.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
