Pool Shift Leader

As a Pool Shift Leader at Haven, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our swimming pools. Your responsibilities will include leading and coaching the team on shift, escalating issues to the Activities & Pool Team Manager when required, and delivering a hands-on approach to pool duties and guest greeting.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and coach the team on shift to ensure all areas of responsibility are met
- Escalate issues to the Activities & Pool Team Manager when required
- Deliver a hands-on approach to pool duties and guest greeting
- Work with the team to maintain a clean and safe swimming pool area
- Deputise for the Activities & Pool Team Manager as required

We offer competitive pay rates, with rates ranging from £16 to £21 per hour, plus an additional £1 per hour when leading a shift.
Experience and Qualifications:We are looking for individuals with experience working as a team leader, shift leader, or supervisor within a leisure centre, fitness centre, or similar environment. Preferred qualifications include the National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ), Swimming Pool Technical Operator Qualification (SPTO), and National Pool Lifeguard Training Assessor (NPLQ TA).
