About the Role

As the team lead, you will be responsible for the local management, service development, and delivery of a very high standard of physiotherapy care to patients at Edgware Community Hospital. You will work closely with the service lead to ensure that the team is operating effectively and efficiently, and that patients receive the best possible care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of physiotherapists in providing high-quality physiotherapy services to patients with musculoskeletal problems.
  • Develop and implement service development plans to improve the quality and efficiency of physiotherapy services.
  • Manage the allocation and organization of work for the team to meet service priorities.
  • Ensure that all staff are fully inducted into the service, including the safe and competent use of all equipment.
  • Perform performance management of staff within the team, including evaluating and dealing with competency issues as required.
Requirements
  • BSc Degree or equivalent in Physiotherapy.
  • Registration with the Health Professions Council.
  • Significant experience in MSK and related fields.
  • Active member of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Supervision and training of junior staff and students.
