Job Summary
This role involves working as the team lead for the musculoskeletal physiotherapy service at Edgware Community Hospital. As a senior staff member of the Physiotherapy Department, you will be responsible for the local management, service development, and delivery of high-quality physiotherapy care to patients at Edgware Community Hospital. This will involve working with patients with musculoskeletal problems as outpatients attending outpatient and GP facilities within the community of the London Borough of Barnet within Central London Community Health Care Trust (CLCH).
Main Duties of the Job
As a team lead, you will assist in the operational management of the team, allocating and organizing the work of all staff to meet service priorities. You will also be responsible for ensuring effective and efficient use of time with patients and for administrative duties.
Additionally, you will assist the service lead in managing the delegated budget for the service, identifying cost pressures to the Trust, monitoring, and controlling expenditure. You will also optimize the effective and efficient use of clinical and organizational skills and resources to ensure that the service is highly responsive to clinical and local service priorities and needs.

- BSc Degree or equivalent in Physiotherapy
- Evidence of continuous professional and personal development
- Registration with the Health Professions Council

- Significant experience in MSK and related fields
- Active member of a multi-disciplinary team
- Supervision and training of junior staff and students
- Experience in managing provision of physiotherapy for MSK
- Experience of working in an outpatient department
- Experience of working within an NHS environment
- Experience of working with a wide range of patient conditions
- Research project carried out at undergraduate level
- Experience of planning and delivering clinical supervision/mentoring to peers and less experienced physiotherapists
Desirable
- Experience of assisting in projects within a team
- Experience at Band 6 level
- Pain Management experience and knowledge
Skills and Knowledge

- Effective oral, listening, and written communication skills
- Effective physiotherapy manual skills
