We are looking for an experienced professional to lead the planning and operations activities for non-product initiatives as part of our overall strategy. You will collaborate cross-functionally and across all Medical Affairs teams to oversee, coordinate, and provide leadership on non-project initiatives.

As a key member of our Medical Affairs team, you will be responsible for ensuring value communication of Medical Affairs activities across various levels of management. Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Head of Medical Affairs Region, you will drive strategic guidance and advice in alignment with our current Astellas Corporate Strategic Plan.

We offer a hybrid working model that allows for a balance between work and personal life. Our office is located at Addlestone KT15 2NX, and we require candidates to be located within a commutable distance.

The salary for this role is £80,000 - £100,000 per annum, depending on experience.

This is a permanent full-time position that requires a blend of home and office work. The successful candidate will hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent and have extensive experience in Medical Affairs.

  • Support the Senior Vice President, Head of MA Region in creating and executing multi-year Medical Affairs organizational strategic plans
  • Lead collaboration with Commercial Operations on Corporate Strategic Plan initiatives, Enterprise Priority initiatives, including omnichannel, communication, training, and associated activities
  • Partner closely with the Regional Leadership Team and Global Operational Excellence Heads within the region on strategy and plans for Medical Affairs Region
  • Lead and provide oversight for the annual brand planning cycle and build consolidated overview for the region
  • Direct interactions with Affiliate Medical Directors to ensure effective collaboration and communication to enable awareness of risks, opportunities, challenges to affiliate objectives
