Job Title: Senior Linguist - Hebrew to English
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Linguist to join our team at TransPerfect. As a Senior Linguist, you will be responsible for prioritizing linguistic tasks for various types of documents, depending on Production needs and in accordance with your subject matter expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand and uphold TransPerfect's quality standards to meet client expectations
- Participate in and pass all required trainings, including subject matter certification, tech tools, and Quality Assurance processes
- Navigate company resources, including Confluence, Launchpad, and technology
- Perform linguistic tasks according to project specifications, including project instructions, reference materials, and language assets
- Follow internal and client processes on all projects
- Work under close supervision of the Team Lead or a more senior member of the team
- Achieve quality and efficiency targets as set by manager/supervisor
- Complete other tasks assigned by the manager/supervisor
Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills in Hebrew
- Native level of English
- Cultural knowledge in both target and source language(s)
- Flexibility with changes of priorities and adaptability to a fast-paced work environment
- Ability to multitask and execute multiple projects simultaneously
- Organizational skills, ability to prioritize, results-oriented, self-motivated
- Ability to maintain professionalism and focus under pressure and tight deadlines
- Problem solving/critical thinking skills
- Minimum Bachelor's degree or its equivalent and/or translation certificate
- Successful completion of TransPerfect's TLC program
- Prior translation/proofreading/copywriting industry experience
