Clinical Lead Nurse

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Lead Nurse to join our team in Orkney. As a key member of our Macmillan Symptom Control team, you will play a vital role in improving the management of complex symptom control for patients with cancer and palliative care needs.
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled nurse to work across various settings, including hospital and community environments. You will have the chance to develop your skills and expertise while working closely with a dedicated team supported by the Macmillan charity.
As a Clinical Lead Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, person-centred care to individuals experiencing cancer and palliative care challenges through effective symptom control and compassionate support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective symptom control strategies for patients with cancer and palliative care needs
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care
- Provide education and training to staff on symptom control and palliative care best practices
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and service development
Salary: £41,499 - £50,222 per annum (pro rata)
