We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients achieve their optimum level of function and independence.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to identify their needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Provide occupational therapy interventions to enable patients to achieve their goals, including ADL retraining, home adaptation, patient education, and work evaluation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care and effective communication.
- Monitor and evaluate treatment progress, making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and carers to ensure effective care and support.
- Degree in Occupational Therapy and HCPC registration.
- Experience in rehabilitation of physical conditions, with a strong focus on patient-centered care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing situations.
- Knowledge of a range of physical disabilities and conditions, including neurological conditions.
