Job Overview

Care Ethics LTD is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Care Aide to enhance the quality of life for our clients. As a key member of our team, you will assist clients with daily activities while promoting independence and dignity.

Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Support clients with mobility and transfers as needed.
  • Prepare meals according to dietary requirements and preferences outlined in care plans.
  • Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities.
  • Administer medication as prescribed and monitor client health status.
  • Document daily activities and report any changes in client condition to the appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, ensuring all equipment is used safely.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in home care or a similar role is preferred.
  • Familiarity with care plans and the ability to follow them accurately is advantageous.
  • A valid driving licence is desirable for transporting clients or running errands as required.
  • Proficiency in English is essential for effective communication with clients and team members.
  • IT skills are beneficial for maintaining records and documentation related to client care.
Salary and Benefits
  • Pay: £14.80-£21.00 per hour.
  • Additional pay: Performance bonus.
  • Work Location: On the road.
