About the Job
We are seeking a skilled MET Technician to join our Bodyshop Team at Rubber Duck Cars. As a MET Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out all necessary mechanical and bodywork on allocated jobs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out inspections, fault-finding, and diagnostic work on vehicles.
- Dismantling vehicles ready for the panel shop.
- Ordering replacement parts and re-assembling the vehicle with new parts as required to pre-accident condition.
- Ensuring all tasks carried out follow our Health and Safety guidelines.
Requirements:
- Experience as a MET in a Bodyshop environment or Level 3 qualified Vehicle Technicians looking for a change to work in a bodyshop.
- Ability to plan workload effectively to ensure vehicles are ready to agreed on timescales.
- Work skillfully and safely under pressure.
- Carry out work in accordance with manufacturers' specification.
- Work as part of a team as well as on your own initiative with minimal supervision.
- Be flexible in your approach.
- Continually work to high standards with customer satisfaction in mind.
