MET Technician

We are seeking a skilled MET Technician to join our Accident Repair Bodyshop Team in Wakefield. As an experienced MET Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out all necessary mechanical and bodywork on allocated jobs, dismantling vehicles ready for the panel shop, and carrying out inspections, fault-finding, and diagnostic work.
About You:To be successful in this role, you must be able to plan your workload effectively, work skillfully and safely under pressure, and carry out work in accordance with manufacturers' specification. You will also need to work as part of a team as well as on your own initiative with minimal supervision, be flexible in your approach, and continually work to high standards with customer satisfaction in mind.
You will ensure that all tasks carried out follow our Health and Safety guidelines, including wearing all provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and keeping all work areas clean and tidy. Candidates must have experience as a MET in a Bodyshop environment or we can also consider Level 3 qualified Vehicle Technicians who are looking for a change to work in a bodyshop.
What We Offer:We offer a competitive salary, up to £41,990 + Bonus OTE Up to £54,590, and a full-time, permanent position with no weekends. You will also have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and exciting environment with a team of experienced professionals.
