About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Management Officer to join our Turner & Townsend Group team in London. As a key member of our Real Estate team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality project management services across the full project lifecycle, from feasibility studies to handover.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Resource Allocation: Plan and secure resources for projects or programs, utilizing appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Team Leadership and Management: Lead and manage project or program teams, delegating tasks and ensuring clear roles and responsibilities.
  • Risk and Issue Management: Identify and manage risks and issues, utilizing effective mitigation and contingency strategies.
  • Project Delivery and Monitoring: Ensure projects or programs stay on track, delivering on time and within budget, using relevant project management methodologies and standards.
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Communication: Build, sustain, and facilitate relationships with project or program stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and engagement.
  • Progress Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor and report on project or program progress and outcomes, using appropriate metrics and indicators.
  • Impact Evaluation: Evaluate the impact and benefits of projects or programs, using evidence-based methods and tools.
Requirements
  • Post-graduate Level Professional Qualification: Post-graduate level professional qualification in project management, internationally recognized.
  • Relevant Degree: Degree in a relevant field, preferably.
  • Health Sector Experience: Experience in Health projects, such as hospitals, clinics, or research facilities.
  • Contract Administration Skills: Strong contract administration skills, especially with NEC contracts.
  • Commercial Acumen: Commercially astute, with the ability to manage budgets and resources.
  • UK Department of Health and Social Care Knowledge: Knowledge of the UK Department of Health and Social Care's management systems and tools.
