Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Installation and Calibration Engineer to join our team at Finning. As a key member of our Machine Control Installation, Calibration and Support Team, you will be responsible for the installation, calibration, and maintenance of Trimble hardware and machine control systems on construction equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and calibrate Trimble hardware and machine control systems on construction equipment, ensuring accurate and efficient operation.
  • Provide technical assistance and support to customers and internal teams, including training and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with the Service and Operations Manager to ensure effective delivery of customer requirements and operational quality.
  • Document post-installation testing and maintain accurate records of system performance.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of Trimble products and technologies, as well as construction equipment and site operations.
Requirements
  • College or vocational qualification in Mechanical, Hydraulics, or Electronic Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Recent experience in troubleshooting hydraulic and electrical issues on heavy equipment machines.
  • Familiarity with construction site operations and machine control systems is desirable.
  • IOSH, RAMS, Health & Safety awareness, and up-to-date CSCS card.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage time efficiently to meet customer and operational requirements.
