About the RoleJob Summary

As a Marketing Executive, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting the Marketing team in planning and executing strategic activities across all marketing and digital channels. You'll assist in creating and delivering marketing plans for Retail, Halfords Autocentre (HAC), and Halfords Mobile Expert (HME).

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop strong relationships with Category Trading Teams across the motoring sector, serving as the marketing champion for trading activity, including range & service reviews, supplier-funded initiatives, and promotions.
  • Lead campaign and channel planning meetings for the Marketing Team, ensuring that channel delivery teams are clearly briefed on activity.
  • Collaborate with the Planning Team to support key timings and ensure campaign briefs align with relevant activity.
  • Brief categories on the annual campaign plan, ensuring compliance with legal marketing regulations.
  • Manage the delivery of promotions across all channels, ensuring optimal execution.
  • Produce and communicate engaging motoring marketing plans in the appropriate format to relevant stakeholders.
  • Build strong and trusted cross-functional relationships with the range review coordinator, category, ops, marketing, digital, space, finance, IT, and customer solutions team to deliver aligned marketing plans.

  • Proven experience in a marketing role.
  • Effective cross-functional working experience.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced and pressurized environment, with experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proactive attitude with a motivation to challenge the status quo and propose new creative ideas.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Good written communication skills, with previous brief-writing experience desirable.
  • Good verbal presentation skills, with experience presenting to groups.
  • Good influencing skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues.
